How to connect NanoCorp to Muse

Connect NanoCorp to Muse with the custom connector, sign in, and check your businesses. Includes the setup values, a first prompt, and troubleshooting.

To connect NanoCorp to Muse, add NanoCorp as a custom connector in Meta's Muse, complete the NanoCorp sign-in, and allow the connection. You can then ask Muse to start a business, work with an existing business's agent, or bring back its progress. You can create your NanoCorp account during setup.

This guide covers the custom connector route described in NanoCorp's assistant connection documentation, checked September 30, 2026. It does not require finding NanoCorp in Muse's public connector directory. Directory placement follows a separate review process described on the Muse Connector Platform page.

If you are still deciding what to build, read how to start a business with Muse. If you already have an idea or a NanoCorp business, start here.

What connecting NanoCorp lets Muse do

NanoCorp gives your business agents tools to build and operate an online business. The connector lets you direct that work from your Muse conversation.

For example, you can ask Muse to list your businesses, send a brief to a business's agent, check whether its work is finished, and return the website or dashboard link. You can also ask about your account's credits before starting another piece of work.

An important detail: the connection covers the businesses in your NanoCorp account. It is not a connection to just the business you happen to mention first. When you have more than one business, name the one you want Muse to work on.

What you need before starting

You need access to Muse and its custom connector setup. You also need to be able to sign in to NanoCorp, or create an account when the connection opens the sign-in page. An existing NanoCorp business is optional.

Connecting and starting a business are separate steps. A working connection does not mean your account has the plan or credits needed for every action. Review the current NanoCorp plans and plans and credits guide before asking an agent to begin work.

1. Add the custom connector in Muse

Open Muse's settings and find the option to add a custom connector. Use the following values where those fields are offered:

Setting What to enter
Name NanoCorp
Connector or server URL https://mcp.nanocorp.so
Sign-in method OAuth
Client ID nca_ed8095a90ede567a36e12ca1
Client secret Leave empty

The client ID is a public setup value from NanoCorp's documentation. You do not need to generate a secret or copy a business API key. Enter the server address exactly as shown, without adding /mcp to the end.

Screen labels can change. Use the fields in your current Muse interface and the connection documentation together. If you cannot find a custom connector option, check Muse's current help or account availability before proceeding. A normal chat message alone does not confirm that an account connection has been made.

2. Sign in to NanoCorp and allow the connection

Muse opens a NanoCorp sign-in page. Sign in with the account that owns the businesses you want to manage. If this is your first visit, create your account there.

Next, review NanoCorp's connection confirmation page. Check the assistant name and the NanoCorp account shown. If it is the wrong account, use Switch before continuing. Choose Allow to complete the connection and return to Muse.

This step gives the assistant permission to act through NanoCorp. You do not need to paste your NanoCorp password into the conversation. Finish the sign-in on the page opened by the connection flow.

3. Check the connection with a request that changes nothing

Start by asking Muse to read your account rather than create a business immediately:

Use the NanoCorp connector to list the businesses in my account. Show each business's name, website link, and dashboard link when available. Do not create a business or change anything yet.

For an existing account, compare the result with your NanoCorp dashboard. For a new account, an empty business list can be the correct result. It means there are no businesses to show, rather than that you need to create another account.

Ask Muse to distinguish a result returned by the connector from a general explanation of NanoCorp. If it only describes what the platform does, ask it to perform the account check using the connected tool.

You can then make a second read-only request:

Check my NanoCorp plan and remaining credits. Explain whether I can start a business now. If I need to take an action, give me the relevant NanoCorp page.

4. Choose your first business task

For a new business, prepare a brief with a customer, a problem, and a clear first deliverable. The business launch guide includes an example. Ask Muse to create the business only once you are ready for work to begin.

For an existing business, a useful first task is a review:

For [business name], review its current status, open tasks, and latest agent update. Summarize what is finished, what is still in progress, and which decision needs my input. Do not start another task yet.

When you are ready, ask for one specific change. Include what a successful result should look like, such as an updated page and a link you can open. For a longer operating routine, see building and running a software business with Muse.

Understand what happens after you send a task

A message to a NanoCorp business's agent starts a period of work called a turn. Work takes a variable amount of time and uses credits. Ask Muse to follow the existing turn and bring back its answer rather than repeatedly sending the same request.

A business handles one agent message at a time. If the agent asks a question, answer it through Muse. Closing the conversation or stopping the status checks does not stop the NanoCorp work. You can explicitly ask Muse to stop the running turn.

Pausing a business's scheduled work is a separate action. A paused business can still receive messages. Be clear whether you want to stop the current task, pause future scheduled work, or both.

Troubleshoot the most common setup problems

What you see What to check next
Muse cannot connect Check the server address and the public client ID against the table above. Leave the client secret empty.
The wrong businesses appear Check which NanoCorp account you allowed during sign-in.
No businesses appear Confirm that the account is correct. A new account may have none yet.
Muse can read the account but cannot start work Ask it for the exact explanation, then check the plan and credits links it returns.
Another task is already running Ask for that task's status. Wait for it to finish or explicitly stop it before starting the next one.
Muse stops providing progress updates Ask for the status of the existing work. Do not assume the business or task needs to be created again.

If the issue continues, use NanoCorp's connection guide and contact the support address listed there with the error text and the step that failed.

FAQ

Do I need a NanoCorp account before connecting Muse?

No. You can create a NanoCorp account during the connection flow. If you already have one, use that account so Muse can work with your existing businesses.

Do I need NanoCorp to appear in Muse's directory?

This guide uses the custom connector setup documented by NanoCorp. A public directory listing is a separate process. You need access to Muse's custom connector option to follow these steps.

Can Muse buy a NanoCorp plan or top up my credits?

The NanoCorp connector returns links for those actions. You complete the purchase on NanoCorp. Existing automatic top-up settings still apply when your assistant starts work, so review those settings yourself if needed.

Can I connect Muse to a business I already started?

Yes. Sign in with the NanoCorp account that owns it, ask Muse to list your businesses, and name the business in your next request. You do not need to create it again.

How do I disconnect NanoCorp from Muse?

Remove NanoCorp from Muse's settings. NanoCorp's documentation notes that an assistant may not notify NanoCorp when removed. To ensure access is closed on NanoCorp's side too, follow the support steps in the disconnect instructions.

Connect and choose your first task

Open Muse's custom connector settings and keep the NanoCorp setup guide beside you. Start with the business-list check, then choose your first task.
