Aiming at the star rating
RankSpot frames local search around the number owners care about most: their Google star rating. Rather than a generic profile optimizer, it sets out to explain why a rating sits where it does, whether the cause is an incomplete Google Business Profile, weak review habits or real problems customers keep mentioning, and to return one ranked plan for moving toward five stars. The site says it works for any business listed on Google, from restaurants and salons to gyms and law firms.
What the free audit checks
An owner enters a business name or a Maps link, with no account or card required. The site says scores are drawn from Google's own place data rather than estimates, and it lays out its method: profile completeness across fields such as categories, services, hours and description; review volume, recency and response rate; photo count and freshness; keywords in the description; and a benchmark against the top businesses in the same category and city. Owners can also paste in feedback they have collected themselves so the plan reflects it.
The paid report
The Maps Visibility Audit Report costs $27 as a one-time purchase. According to the site it covers more ranking factors than the free check, orders every fix by expected impact, compares the profile side by side with the three local competitors above it, and lists keyword opportunities and quick wins, in a print-ready format to hand to a team or agency. The interface and results are also available in French, detected automatically for visitors from France, Quebec, Belgium and Switzerland.
Agents at the controls
RankSpot is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp, whose agents wrote the audit engine, the localization and the blog on ranking in Google Maps.
