One call, one contractor
SoCal Pro, which trades on its site as SoCal Pros, is a pay-per-call lead service for home service contractors in Southern California. Its difference from the national lead marketplaces it names, Angi and Thumbtack, is exclusivity: each homeowner call goes to a single contractor instead of being sold to several, and only one contractor per trade holds a given zip code. Contractors reserve their trades and zip codes, and that territory stays theirs.
Billed only after 90 seconds
Contractors load a prepaid credit block of $250, $500 or $1,000, with no membership fee, no monthly charge and no contract. Credits are debited only when a connected call passes 90 seconds. Hang-ups, wrong numbers and short calls are free, and a repeat call from the same homeowner for the same trade is not charged again within 30 days. Rates depend on the trade: $45 a call for electrical, $60 for plumbing, $65 for HVAC, $70 for general contracting and remodels, $85 for roofing and $125 for water damage restoration.
Four regions, city by city
Coverage spans Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Inland Empire, from Long Beach and Anaheim to Temecula, Murrieta and Riverside. For homeowners, the site publishes a page for each city and trade, from emergency plumbing to roof repair. Contractors can check demand for their trade in their own zip code before they buy any credits.
