Bolt.new Alternatives 2026: Build an App or Run a Business

Bolt.new builds and hosts apps from a chat. These alternatives split in two: builders like Lovable, Replit and v0, and platforms that work on the business after launch, like NanoCorp. Prices, fees and limits checked November 2026.

The right Bolt.new alternatives depend on what you want when the build is done: a better app, or a business with someone working on it. This post is about the AI builder at bolt.new, not the other products called Bolt. It is written by the team at NanoCorp, so we list ourselves first. Every competitor fact links to that company's own page, read on November 4, 2026.

Option Best for Entry price, as of November 2026 Taking payments Work after launch
NanoCorp A business that an agent keeps working on Founding interview free, no free plan. Founder $30 a month for 30 credits Built-in checkout, 20% fee on withdrawals Agent works on check-ins, and you steer by chat

If the app is the goal, stay on Bolt or try Lovable; if the business is the goal, start with NanoCorp's founding interview.

What Bolt does well

Bolt deserves a fair description before you leave it. Bolt's introduction calls it a builder for websites, web apps and mobile apps, made by StackBlitz, which runs in the browser with nothing to install. It covers more than the first draft:

  • Publishing. You can publish to a bolt.host address on the free plan. Custom domains need a paid plan.
  • Backend. Bolt creates a database when your app needs one, and handles user sign-in.
  • Payments. Its Stripe guide connects your own Stripe account for one-time payments and subscriptions.
  • Search and traffic. Its pricing page lists SEO boosting on Pro, and paid plans get hosting analytics.

The free plan, as of November 2026, gives 1 million tokens a month with a limit of 300,000 a day, and needs no credit card. Pro starts at $25 a month for 10 million tokens. If you want to learn by building, or you need a mobile app, Bolt is a sensible place to be. NanoCorp has no free plan, so Bolt wins on trying something at no cost.

Why you might look past Bolt

We have not surveyed Bolt's users, so these are situations to check against your own, not statistics.

  1. The app is live and nobody is using it. Bolt's help center covers building, hosting, domains, databases, integrations and billing. We found no guide on finding customers, running ads or outreach. That work stays with you.
  2. You don't want to set up the parts around the app. Sending email from a Bolt app goes through an outside provider whose key you add yourself. Payments use your own Stripe account. That is good control if you want it, and more setup if you don't.
  3. Your project got bigger. Bolt's token guide says larger projects use more tokens with each message, because most usage comes from reading and syncing your files. Check how quickly your own project spends them.
  4. You want a different builder. Lovable, Replit and v0 are direct swaps, covered below.

Alternatives that work on the business

1. NanoCorp

NanoCorp starts from a business instead of a project. You give one sentence about your idea, and a free founding interview shapes it into a brief. The business then gets its own website, email address, checkout for products and monthly plans, code repository and balance of earnings. One main agent works on it, on regular check-ins and when you message it, and it can also run a social ad on a daily budget.

The limits, so you can judge it properly:

  • There is no free plan. Founder is $30 a month for 30 credits, up to $2,000 for 2,000 credits, as of November 2026, and covers unlimited businesses. Selling, building the product, outbound email and a custom domain all need Founder.
  • Credits go faster than you may expect. Our docs put a chat turn at about 3 to 12 credits and a full product build at about 20. Unused credits roll over.
  • We keep 20% when you withdraw earnings. On a business with real sales, compare that with a smaller fee or your own Stripe account.
  • Sales are not promised. The live feed and business profiles show what real businesses did, which is evidence about them and not a forecast for yours. You still choose the offer and check the work. Our guide on whether AI can run a business goes through what stays with the owner.

2. Polsia

Polsia's home page says it plans your roadmap, ships code, runs ads, replies to customers and posts on social media, and that you can begin for free without a credit card. Its terms, as of November 2026, set a platform fee of 3% on customer payments, with processing fees on top, and 20% on ad spend. That sales fee is much lower than our withdrawal fee, and it is worth weighing if you expect real volume.

We could not find paid plan prices on the public pages we read, so check the offer inside your account. Our Polsia pricing guide and list of Polsia alternatives go further.

3. Cofounder

Cofounder describes agents across engineering, sales, marketing, design, finance and operations, and says nothing ships without your approval. Its pricing page, as of November 2026, lists one plan at $40 a month per business with $40 in usage credits. Your AI agent subscription is separate, as are filing fees and ad spend. It suits you if you already pay for an AI coding agent and want approval on each step.

Alternatives that stay builders

4. Lovable

Lovable's documentation describes building full web apps from plain language, including backend, database and sign-in. It is the builder closest to our angle: its growth tools research demand, draft content and can create Google and Meta ad campaigns, asking your approval before publishing or changing a campaign. Its payments guide offers built-in payments on paid plans, or your own Stripe account on any plan.

Its pricing page, as of November 2026, lists a free plan, Pro at $25 a month and Business at $50, both with 100 monthly credits. Pick it if you want to stay in charge of the business and still get help with marketing.

5. Replit

Replit's agent page describes building apps, sites and agents from a chat, with a built-in database and sign-in, and links out to services like Stripe. Its pricing page, as of November 2026, shows Core at $18 a month billed annually and Pro at $90, against list prices of $20 and $100. It shows no separate free plan card. Its home page lists hosting, sign-in, database and monitoring as built in. Pick it if you want all of that in one workspace.

6. v0

v0 describes an agent for landing pages, dashboards, stores and full web apps, with one-click publishing and the option to review changes first. Its pricing page, as of November 2026, lists a free plan limited to 7 messages a day and Plus at $30 per user a month with $30 in credits. The pages we read do not mention payments. Pick it if the interface is the main thing you need.

How to choose

Ask one question: who does the next job after launch? Write down the next five things your business needs, such as a page for a new offer, a reply to a customer, a price change, a first ad and a weekly look at sales.

  • You want to do them yourself, or the app is a side project. Stay on Bolt, or compare it with Lovable and Replit. You keep full control.
  • You want help on marketing and you want to approve each step. Look at Lovable's growth tools or Cofounder.
  • You want an agent to pick them up and report back. Compare NanoCorp and Polsia on the same idea, and read the fees side by side.

If the last one is you, start the founding interview and read the brief it writes. Our post on launching a SaaS without coding walks through the routes in more detail.

FAQ

What is the best Bolt.new alternative?

It depends on the job. For a similar builder, Lovable is the closest, with Replit and v0 as other direct swaps. For a business that keeps being worked on after launch, compare NanoCorp, Polsia and Cofounder. No single option wins both.

Is there a free alternative to Bolt.new?

Lovable and v0 both list free plans as of November 2026, each with daily limits. Polsia says you can begin for free. NanoCorp has no free plan: only the founding interview is free.

Can I move my Bolt project to NanoCorp?

Yes, through GitHub. Connecting Bolt to GitHub is how Bolt's help describes taking your code elsewhere, and you can then start a NanoCorp business from that repository. It is a one-time copy of the code, not of your live data. If your Bolt app is working, keeping it may be the better call.

Does Bolt.new take a cut of my sales?

Its pricing page lists no fee on your sales, and payments run through your own Stripe account, which charges its own fees. Check Stripe's rates for your country before comparing totals.

Is NanoCorp more expensive than Bolt?

At entry, yes: $30 a month against Bolt's free plan and $25 Pro, as of November 2026, plus our 20% fee on withdrawals. The two buy different things. Bolt's tokens pay for building, and NanoCorp's credits pay for an agent working on the business. See current pricing.
