The real difference: who starts the work

HeyBoss works from what you ask for. Its homepage FAQ says you can "run your business using plain language prompts", and to change your site you tell it what you want changed. That is a fair description of a strong tool: it covers building, hosting, a built-in CRM, email tools and search optimization under one subscription.

HeyBoss also describes more than a builder. Its about page presents a team of AI roles, including an AI CEO available around the clock, and says its AI handles the product lifecycle through to maintenance. Its pricing page lists workflow automation on the Platinum plan, and its search tools page describes generating optimized titles and descriptions once you activate the feature. What we did not find, on the pages we read in November 2026, is a statement that HeyBoss chooses its own next task and works on a schedule toward sales. If that matters to you, ask HeyBoss directly.

NanoCorp is built around that loop. Each business has one main agent that works in turns. A turn starts when you send a message, at its check-ins, or when one of its routines is due. You set check-ins from 1 to 8 runs a day, or turn them off. The agent's job is revenue you can withdraw. We cover what this kind of business can and cannot do in what an autonomous AI business is.

There is a catch, and it is a real one. Each run and each chat message spends credits, and there is no daily cap: the business works until your credits run out. If you want to approve every step, or you want nothing to happen unless you ask, HeyBoss fits that better. A public sale on our live page is evidence about that business, not a promise about yours.

What each one costs

All prices below as of November 2026.

HeyBoss plan Monthly billing Annual billing AI credits a month
Basic $29.99 a month $23.99 a month ($287.90 a year) 200
Premium $49.99 a month $39.99 a month ($479.90 a year) 500
Platinum $99.99 a month $79.99 a month ($959.90 a year) 1,600

Plan the build separately. HeyBoss's pricing page estimates about 200 credits for a simple personal site, about 1,000 for a startup landing page and 5,000 or more for a full software product. Its homepage estimates $50 to $200 in credits for a simple site and $500 to $800 for a complex site or store. Small edits to text, colors and spacing use no credits, which is a good rule for anyone who likes to tweak.

The NanoCorp Founder plan runs from $30 a month for 30 credits up to $2,000 a month for 2,000 credits, as of November 2026. Credits roll over, and all your businesses share one balance. As a rough guide, starting a business takes about 3 to 5 credits, a chat turn about 3 to 12, and a full product build about 20. So 30 credits covers a modest amount of work, and a business that runs several times a day will likely need a higher tier.

The credits are not the same unit, so 200 HeyBoss credits and 30 NanoCorp credits cannot be compared directly. Compare what you would ask each one to do.

Selling and getting paid

This is HeyBoss's strongest row if your business already sells. Its pricing page lists payments and a storefront from the Premium plan up, so selling starts at $49.99 a month, or $39.99 on annual billing, as of November 2026. Its payments page says you connect your own Stripe account and funds go directly to it. We found no HeyBoss fee on sales on its pricing, payments or terms pages.

NanoCorp includes checkout from the Founder plan, $30 a month as of November 2026. Sales land in your business's balance, and you withdraw when you choose. NanoCorp keeps 20% of each withdrawal, so a $100 withdrawal sends you $80. Extra conversion fees can apply if your payout account is not in US dollars.

So NanoCorp costs less to start selling, and HeyBoss looks cheaper once real money moves. Work out both for the revenue you expect.

Building and editing the site

HeyBoss is the better tool for hands-on site work. Its visual editor lets you click an element on the live preview and change the text, styles, images and links, with a history to undo changes. Its homepage offers templates, cloning a site from a URL, and an estimate of 10 to 30 minutes to launch. It also has a page for agencies that deliver client sites under their own brand, though that page gives no price.

On NanoCorp, the site is one thing the agent makes. Each business comes with a website, an email address, a checkout, a code repository and its own balance, and you ask for changes in the chat. Custom domains are included on paid plans, and you can buy one inside the app. If you want to arrange a page yourself, choose HeyBoss.

On code, HeyBoss lists a code editor from the Basic plan, and its terms say it claims no ownership of the code you create. NanoCorp opens your repository from the $120 a month tier, as of November 2026, and there is no repository access below it. On a small budget, this favors HeyBoss.

Choose HeyBoss if...

  • You mainly need a website, store or booking site, and you want to edit it yourself.
  • You want to try a Free plan first.
  • You are an established seller and want funds in your own Stripe account, with no 20% on withdrawals.
  • You want a stated money-back window, or you build sites for clients.

FAQ

Is NanoCorp better than HeyBoss?

It depends on the job. HeyBoss is better for building and editing a site yourself, and for keeping more of each sale. NanoCorp is better if you want an agent that keeps working on the business on a schedule. We are biased, so try the free founding interview and compare what you get with HeyBoss's Free plan.

Is HeyBoss free?

HeyBoss's pricing page lists a Free plan, without a custom domain, private projects or payments, as of November 2026. Its terms say a project published on the free plan joins a public template library. Its features page also mentions a 14-day free trial, which the pricing page does not, so check at signup.

Is NanoCorp free?

No. The founding interview is free, and there is no free plan. The Founder plan starts at $30 a month as of November 2026, and a business needs it to sell, send outbound email and use a custom domain.

Which one is cheaper?

To start selling, NanoCorp: $30 a month against $39.99 to $49.99 on HeyBoss, as of November 2026. Just for a site with no payments, HeyBoss's Basic plan is about the same price, and its Free plan costs nothing. Once you earn steadily, the 20% withdrawal fee can make NanoCorp the more expensive one.

What are the refund terms?

HeyBoss's pricing page shows a 7-day money-back promise, and its terms say partial billing periods are not refunded. NanoCorp's refund policy offers no refunds on subscription fees, and you can cancel at any time. HeyBoss is the safer choice here.
