NanoCorp vs Replit (2026): Build an App or Run a Business?

NanoCorp vs Replit, side by side: what each one does, free access, monthly price, fees on your sales, recurring work, code and teams, including where Replit is the better choice. Replit facts from its own site, checked November 4, 2026.

NanoCorp vs Replit comes down to the job you are handing over. Replit is a platform for building and publishing apps by describing them. NanoCorp gives each online business an AI agent that builds it and keeps working on it. We make NanoCorp, so read with that in mind. Every Replit fact comes from its own pricing page, docs and Terms, as of November 4, 2026.

Verdict: pick Replit to build an app you will run yourself or with a team; pick NanoCorp when you want agents to keep working on the business after it is built.

Start your founding interview: the interview itself is free, and the Founder plan starts at $30 a month (November 2026).

This is a reading of public pages, not a hands-on test of either product's results.

The real difference

Replit's homepage promises to turn ideas into apps with no coding needed. Its AI app builder page lists what each app gets: a database, file storage, login, hosting and a custom domain, set up for you. You then steer the agent by chat. Its founders page talks about building a first working product and learning from real customers.

Replit is not only a code tool. Its pricing page footer says you can grow businesses there too, and its docs include guides for contact outreach and TikTok ads. The difference is who starts the work and who sets things up.

NanoCorp starts from a business, not an app. A free interview turns one sentence about your idea into a brief, then the business starts on its own. Each business comes with a website, an email address, a checkout, a code repository and a balance of earnings. One main agent runs it, in turns that start when you send a message, on its check-ins, or when a routine is due. Our guide to businesses run by AI agents covers what that does and does not mean for you as the owner.

Where Replit is the better choice

  • You want to try for free. Replit's Starter plan costs nothing and includes one published app. That link goes down after 30 days and carries a Replit badge. NanoCorp has no free plan, only a free founding interview.
  • You need a phone app. Replit's mobile guide goes from a phone-first app to TestFlight and the App Store, with an Apple Developer membership. NanoCorp agents cannot build store apps at the moment.
  • You or a developer want direct access to the code at a low price. Replit's version control docs describe Git and GitHub sync. On NanoCorp, repository access starts at the $120 a month tier (November 2026), and below that there is none.
  • Several people build together. Core includes 5 builders, and Pro includes 15 with no per-user fees.
  • You want to review each change. Replit's background tasks do not touch your main version until you apply them.
  • Your company needs admin controls. Replit's Enterprise plan lists single sign-on and audit logs. NanoCorp's pricing lists one Founder plan.

Where NanoCorp is the better choice

  • You want the business side handled, not only the build. The agent works on the site, the product, email and customers from the same brief.
  • You want the work to continue between your messages. You set check-ins from 1 to 8 runs a day, or turn them off.
  • You want to test several ideas. Founder covers unlimited businesses on one shared credit balance.
  • You want to sell without setting up a payments account. Each business has a checkout, and you never handle payment settings to start selling.
  • You want to look at real businesses first. The live feed shows businesses on the platform. A sale you see there is evidence about that business, not a promise about yours.

Feature by feature

Price, and what it buys

All prices here are as of November 4, 2026, and the two kinds of credit cannot be compared one for one.

The NanoCorp Founder plan runs from $30 a month for 30 credits to $2,000 a month for 2,000 credits. Unused credits roll over, and top-ups start at 10 credits for $15. A credit is not a task. Starting a business costs about 3 to 5 credits, a chat turn about 3 to 12, and a full product build about 20. So 30 credits buys a handful of turns, not a month of nonstop work. There is no daily cap: the business works until your credits run out, so set your check-ins with that in mind.

Replit's pricing page lists Core at $20 a month with $20 toward more capable models, and Pro at $100 a month with $100 in credits and higher levels up to $2,000 a month. Prices may carry tax, and annual billing saves up to 10%. Free Mode builds a first version without using credits, and on Core and Pro its allowance refreshes every five hours.

Paid modes use effort-based pricing, so a request has no fixed price, though Replit asks you to confirm before paid work starts. Publishing also draws on your credits: an Autoscale app has a $2 monthly base fee plus usage, and a static site hosts free with $0.05 per GB of data sent. To cap all this, usage limits block usage-based services once you reach them.

For a simple app you run yourself, Replit can cost less to enter. For agents working on several businesses every day, compare the credits that work consumes rather than the entry price. The same logic applies to our SaaS launch routes.

Fees and getting paid

Replit's Stripe guide has you connect your own live Stripe account before taking real payments. You create live products and prices there yourself. We found no Replit fee on your sales in that guide or in its Terms, as of November 2026. If you already sell through your own payment account, this row favors Replit.

NanoCorp's fee comes at withdrawal. Earnings land in the business's balance, and when you withdraw, NanoCorp keeps 20% and sends you the rest. On a $100 withdrawal, that is $20 to NanoCorp and $80 to you (November 2026). That is a real cost on a business that sells, and you should count it.

Recurring work and approvals

Replit's Routines repeat work from a chat, hourly, daily or weekly. They can use connected tools, create tasks and send messages. Core allows 5 active routines per user and Pro allows 10, with none on Starter. They cannot schedule publishing, and they cannot be created inside a project.

Outreach and ads wait for you on Replit. Its outreach guide sends from your own Gmail and holds every email until you approve it. Its TikTok guide asks for a finished video and your own ad account with billing set up, then creates the campaign once you approve the plan. If you want that control, it is a strength.

NanoCorp leans the other way. The agent works from its check-ins and routines without asking you to approve each step, and you steer by chat and read what it did. It sends email from the business's own address, can search for potential customers, and can make a social ad when you ask. Two brakes stay with you: a first ad starts at a $0 budget until you raise it, and the agent asks before its first post of each kind on an account you connect. You can also switch off outbound email or pause everything from the dashboard. You give up some control per action in exchange for less to do, and someone still has to judge the results. Our autonomous AI company guide explains that trade.

Refunds

Replit's Terms, last updated August 3, 2026, allow full refunds on subscription payments within 30 days of purchase. Usage-based charges are not refundable. On NanoCorp, completed work is billed, and there are no discretionary refunds for work that ran and completed, even if you are unhappy with the output. This row favors Replit.

FAQ

Is NanoCorp better than Replit?

For different jobs. Replit has the free plan, the mobile apps, the team seats and the wider code access. NanoCorp sets a business up and keeps an agent working on it on a schedule. Try the same idea on both if you can, and compare what you still have to do yourself.

Is Replit free? Is NanoCorp?

Replit has a free Starter plan with daily credits and one published app whose link expires after 30 days, as of November 2026. NanoCorp has no free plan: the founding interview is free, then the Founder plan starts at $30 a month (November 2026). See NanoCorp pricing.

Can Replit run my business for me?

Replit can build the product, and its routines and guides cover some recurring work such as summaries, messages and outreach. It keeps many steps with you: approving emails, approving campaigns, and applying tasks. If you want that work to keep moving without you starting each step, compare it with NanoCorp.

Do I need to code on either one?

No. Both start from plain language. Replit also lets you work in the code directly if you want to. On NanoCorp you steer by chat, and code access comes with the $120 a month tier (November 2026).

Can I move a Replit app to NanoCorp?

There is no one-click move, but you can go through GitHub. Replit's Git and GitHub sync gets the code out, and you can then start a NanoCorp business from that repository, as a one-time copy of the code. A project on your computer can become a business through our command-line tool. Check what the agent proposes before you cancel anything.

Can NanoCorp build a mobile app?

Not at the moment. If a phone app is the product, Replit is the better starting point.
