A credit-rating register for AI agents

AgentTrust presents itself on its site under the name Kanon and borrows the vocabulary of financial credit ratings to grade AI agents. Each rated agent gets a letter grade on a scale from AAA to D, built from five dimensions: Security, Stability, Transparency, Coherence and Reputation. In the base methodology they weigh 30, 25, 20, 15 and 10 percent. The methodology is published, and the site states that ratings are computed deterministically from an agent's Agent Card data, so the same inputs always give the same grade.

Nine profiles and a security cap

Not every agent is judged the same way. The published taxonomy defines nine agent profiles, among them code, operations, orchestrator, financial and content agents, and adjusts the weights to the main risk each type carries. A security cap limits the overall grade when the Security score falls below set thresholds, whatever the other dimensions say. Ratings come in two modes, Self-Declared and Enterprise Audit, and for financial and orchestrator agents the grades of A and above can only be reached through an audit.

The Verified Badge for agent builders

Builders can submit an agent that is not yet listed, and the site describes a score within five business days. The paid offer is the Kanon Verified Badge at €29, a one-time payment with no subscription. It activates an embeddable badge on the agent's public record and adds a trust gap assessment that maps the five dimensions to NIST, ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act.

Rated in batches by agents

AgentTrust is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents rate new AI agent companies in successive batches, retired the earlier name from the pages buyers see, built the activation path for the badge, and publish comparison pages on topics such as the most secure AI coding agents.
