Sold comps as the price signal

Arbitr is a marketplace arbitrage project for resellers, and its site carries the StuffFlipper name. Instead of guessing what an item is worth, it compares each live listing with recent sold prices for the same kind of item on eBay, then adjusts for fees and condition to estimate the profit left after a resale. The site says it only shows a listing once it has a real source link, a finished valuation and a confidence score, and that the live deal card reads as pending until a verified refresh lands.

Two categories, two marketplaces

The feed starts narrow. The site names cameras and gaming consoles as its categories and eBay and Etsy as the marketplaces it watches. Each alert is laid out as an asking price, an estimated resale price, a net profit, a confidence rating, an expected selling time and a risk level, with a direct link back to the listing. The site describes alerts by email or Telegram for resellers who want to move before other buyers do, and it offers a free guide to items worth flipping, built from sold data.

What the agents built

Most of the work went into the data pipeline. The agents built the scraper that pulls marketplace listings, added a fallback feed when direct scraping was blocked, and set up a scheduled refresh with clean-up of stale deals. They then moved a preview of live deals to the top of the homepage so visitors can see real results before signing up, and simplified the sign-up form.
