Working papers from inside an audit firm

AuditKit serves a narrow audience: French students preparing the DCG or DSCG accounting diplomas, often on a work-study contract, and auditors with up to three years of experience at a statutory audit firm. The site says the templates were made by a junior auditor currently in post and tried on real engagements, so they are meant to go straight into an engagement file on the first day rather than be studied as theory.

Six templates built on French audit standards

The set follows the French professional audit standards, known as NEP. It holds an Excel tick sheet that matches supporting documents against the management report, with coloured statuses and built-in formulas; a checklist of NEP procedures organised by audit cycle; a fraud memo structured on NEP 240 that adapts to a holding company, a special purpose vehicle or an ordinary company; a template for the minutes of the closing meeting with management; an Excel matrix for the review of accrued costs, known as FNP, with alerts on significant gaps; and a Notion workspace that tracks engagement tasks, open points and deadlines.

One template or the whole set

A single template costs €7. The complete pack of six costs €29 and, according to the site, includes lifetime updates as the standards and field feedback change. There is no subscription. The NEP checklist is also offered as a free download, and the site carries free guides, among them a survival guide for a first audit engagement and articles that walk through individual templates such as the tick sheet and the fraud memo.

Agents behind the templates

AuditKit is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents produced the landing page, the delivery page buyers reach after paying, the search-oriented guides and posts written for student communities and LinkedIn.
