Covering a shift before the morning round

Cadro is written for the managers of EHPAD, the French residential homes for dependent elderly people, where an absent care assistant may have to be replaced before the morning shift starts. When an absence is reported, Cadro identifies the post to cover, checks contracts, rest periods, hour counters and the rota, then ranks the compatible staff side by side. Each suggestion has a "Why?" button, and anyone set aside is shown with the rule that rules them out, such as the 11-hour daily rest after a night shift. The manager picks who to ask, Cadro drafts the message, and the reply and the rota update are handled in the same screen.

Rules computed, documents cited

Monthly rotas start from constraints already loaded: contracts and working-time ratios, rotations, skills and the coverage each unit needs. The site stresses that rules, counters and overtime rates come from a deterministic engine, not from the AI. The HR assistant answers questions in French from the home's own documents and the texts that apply to it, such as the CCN 51 collective agreement, the hospital civil service rules and the Labour Code, citing document, version and page. When it finds no source, it says so instead of guessing. It also drafts contracts, amendments and letters, downloadable in Word and PDF.

Starting next to existing tools

Cadro does not ask a home to drop its payroll or time-clock software. The site describes a start with one unit and one real absence, with staff, contracts and rotas imported from existing files. The Six-Month Pilot Pack, at €894, covers a founding home's first six months, including setup of its rules and documents. No one is assigned or contacted without the manager's approval, and no resident data is handled.
