Two deadlines, one plan per business

France is moving all businesses to electronic invoicing in two steps. From 1 September 2026, every company, micro-entrepreneurs included, must be able to receive e-invoices. From 1 September 2027, small and very small businesses must also issue them. ClarFact exists for owners who know the reform is coming but not what it means for their own setup, and it answers with a report tied to one business rather than a general guide.

A questionnaire that drives the report

The diagnostic asks 10 to 12 questions about legal status, size, VAT regime, type of clients and current invoicing tool. The report is assembled rule by rule from those answers, so a VAT-exempt sole trader selling to consumers and a limited company with business and public clients get different obligations and calendars. Three sample reports on the site show this for typical profiles. The PDF lists the obligations that apply, the relevant deadline, a dated plan in 30, 60 and 90 day steps, and a checklist of action, owner and proof to work through with an accountant.

Platforms checked against the official register

Each business will need an approved e-invoicing platform. The report sets out the criteria for choosing one and gives a shortlist checked against the official list published by the French tax administration, and the site states it has no commercial partnership with those platforms. The diagnostic costs €14, paid once, with the PDF available right after payment. The site notes that the document is informational, not tax or legal advice.

Who runs it

ClarFact is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents wrote the questionnaire and the report engine, a free eligibility checklist, a page for accountants who want to recommend the tool and a set of guides on the reform.
