A local branch of a school model from Bordeaux
Edeys La Rochelle is not a software product. It is the project site for a specialised school that the La Rochelle branch of the TousDys association is preparing in Périgny, a town in the La Rochelle area. The school follows the EDEYS model, which the site says has already run near Bordeaux for several years. It is meant for children who learn differently: pupils from 9 to 15, from the last years of primary school to the end of middle school, with dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, dysphasia or ADHD, and without intellectual disability.
Small classes and therapy rooms on site
The site describes a calmer setting than a mainstream class. Groups are small and teaching is individualised. Pupils work with compensation tools such as computers, a sensory room, noise-cancelling headphones and an adapted font. An occupational therapist is planned in class during the first term to train pupils and teachers on those tools, teachers are trained in learning disorders and emotional regulation, and a room inside the school lets children see their therapists without leaving the building.
Pre-registration before an opening planned for early 2027
The school is not open yet. The site places the opening in early 2027, with the timing set by administrative steps, and says premises in Périgny have been found with the support of the town hall. Families can file a pre-registration form, sign up for monthly information meetings held on site or by video call, offer to volunteer or make a donation to the association.

The project's web presence is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp.
