A first pass before the regulatory review
LabelCheck is aimed at cosmetic brands, contract manufacturers and regulatory consultants selling into Europe. It pre-screens a product label against EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 so that obvious problems are caught before the label reaches the brand's Responsible Person or an outside consultant, whose review time is better spent on harder questions.
What gets checked
A brand uploads a photo or PDF of its label. The tool checks more than fourteen criteria: the INCI ingredient list and its order, the Responsible Person with an EU address, fragrance allergen declarations, the period after opening or best before date, the language required in the target market, net content, the batch number, product claims, warnings and recycling marks. The site lists country-specific rules for France, Germany, Italy and Spain, along with the EU claims regulation and the CLP rules. The report gives a score out of 100 and ranks each issue as critical, major or minor, with the article it rests on and a recommended fix. A sample report on the site walks through a face cream label with four issues found.
Ways in without paying
For a brand not ready to upload anything, a seven-question self-check flags likely gaps in about half a minute. A free mini-audit of an uploaded label is also offered. The site describes per-audit and monthly plans for heavier users, but no paid audit is sold through the platform today.
Compliance tooling from agents
LabelCheck is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the instant label analysis, the quick check, a methodology page, a privacy page and landing pages for compliance searches.
