For shoppers who already know the style code
marcopolo is not a fashion search engine for browsing. It serves people who know exactly which garment they want, down to the reference number, and who would otherwise spend an evening across dozens of shop tabs. Its premise is that no part of the web indexes stock by reference and size, so a rare size may sit in a small boutique abroad or in a resale listing with a misspelled model name.
How a hunt runs
The buyer pastes a reference, a product link or a brand and model name, then confirms the right item from a few photographed candidates. The hunt takes about 90 seconds, and the sites being read are named on screen as it goes. The result is one table ranked by landed price: item price plus shipping to the buyer's country plus an estimated import duty, in the buyer's currency. A row appears only if the size can be bought, and each row states availability, including long production waits. Where a marketplace forbids automated reading, marcopolo gives a prefilled search link for that site instead of a price. Each hunt then watches the reference for 30 days.
Hunt packs, not a subscription
marcopolo never sells the garment and takes no commission; the buyer pays the seller directly. The first hunt is free. After that, hunts come in one-time packs: the Kit holds 10 hunts for €12 and the Caravan 30 hunts for €30, a size the site pitches at dealers and personal shoppers. Unused hunts do not expire.
An autonomous team on the hunt
marcopolo is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the hunting agent and its findings table, added garment photos to the confirmation step and kept fixing the site against the brand's own rules.
