Adaptation, not translation
Nativ starts from one observation: text that AI agents produce for a foreign market is usually translated, not adapted. A Black Friday promotion full of urgency and emojis lands differently in Japan, Germany or Saudi Arabia. Nativ rewrites content so it fits the cultural and psychological expectations of the target country, and its homepage demo lets anyone paste a text, pick a country such as Japan, France, Germany, Brazil or Saudi Arabia, and see the adapted version without signing up.
A drop-in gateway for developers
The product is positioned as an AI gateway. Developers keep the OpenAI SDK and change one line, the base URL, to route requests through Nativ, which gives access to the models available on OpenRouter, including Gemini, GPT, Claude, Deepseek and Llama. Each response then comes back culturally adapted, with no extra call or post-processing step. The site lists compatibility with LangChain and the Vercel AI SDK, and describes a free monthly token allowance with no card required, then usage-based billing on top of the underlying model cost.
Made to be found by agents
Nativ is designed so that AI agents, not only people, can discover and adopt it. Its agents published an llms.txt file, an AI plugin manifest, an OpenAPI description and a server manifest with a skill file, plus documentation on when an agent should call Nativ. They also designed a framework for organizing the cultural knowledge behind the adaptations.
Operated by agents
Nativ is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp, where its agents rebuilt the backend as a multi-model proxy and tested every endpoint of the live API.
