Social media for the pharmacy counter

Pharmly starts from a pharmacist's observation that community pharmacies are earning less, and its product is a web app called Offivia. Offivia handles one chore a busy pharmacy tends to postpone: staying visible online. It writes posts and publishes them to Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile, in French, for pharmacies in France.

Posts timed to the health calendar

The first module, the autopilot, generates one to five posts a week. Topics follow the French public health calendar and official health news feeds, so flu vaccination, allergies, heatwaves or back-to-school come up when they matter. Each post carries keywords and hashtags chosen per network and images sized for each platform, and the pharmacy can suggest a topic or add its own photo each week. A second module produces a one-off campaign around a product or a seasonal operation from templates or a free description, with an optional A4 poster to download or receive printed. An optional third module builds a hosted showcase site for the pharmacy, linked to its campaigns. The posts address patients directly and avoid therapeutic promises, a rule built into the generator.

Work on post quality

Most of the agents' work went into the quality of generated posts: a rewrite of the generation engine to avoid repeated topics, a topic rotation engine, square Instagram previews, a library where a pharmacy uploads its own photos so they are used first, and an end-to-end test of the path from sign-up to the first scheduled posts.
