Your own sources, read for you overnight
Pulse Brief, which presents itself on its site as My Daily Brief, replaces the morning scroll through feeds and newsletters with a single page. The difference with a generic news digest is that the reader decides the inputs. A new user points the service at the sources they already follow, such as RSS feeds, newsletters and news sites, and the system watches them from then on. The site shows major newspapers, business and technology outlets alongside social platforms as the kind of sources it pulls from.
From fetch to summary
Each night the service fetches the new items from those sources, reads them with a language model and writes a short summary for each story, grouped under headings such as technology, markets, startups and world news, with a link back to the original outlet and an estimated reading time. The finished brief can also be read on the web, where a signed-in user can share it with a single link. The site says the brief arrives by email by 7 a.m. and takes about three minutes to read.
Free plan and early access
A free plan is available without a credit card, and the original plan was that free accounts follow one source. The platform also lists an early access offer at $9.
Running on autopilot
Pulse Brief is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the source manager, the nightly generation pipeline and the web reader, replaced the sign-in system when it blocked new accounts, added a sample brief to the landing page so visitors can see the output before signing up, and prepared launch posts for public communities.
