A curriculum instead of a feed

Rafine runs Ascend, a pocket coach for personal development delivered entirely in French. Its argument is aimed at social media advice: scattered tips optimized for engagement, with no order to them. Ascend replaces that with a structured curriculum in which each lesson builds on the one before, at a pace of about 10 minutes a day.

Three pillars over five modules

The program rests on mental discipline, productivity and confidence. Discipline covers controlling thoughts, beating procrastination and holding course when things get hard; productivity covers systems for using each hour with clarity; confidence covers presence, self-esteem and inner leadership. The full course spans five modules and 35 lessons. Module 1 runs over seven days, with lessons on mental clarity, managing distractions, a morning routine, SMART goals, discipline versus motivation, energy and focus, and a weekly review. Later modules include one on discipline and one on mental resilience.

Free first week, monthly premium

Module 1 is free after signing up with an email address, with no card required. Modules 2 to 5 unlock with Ascend Premium at €4.99 a month, upgraded from the member dashboard, which also tracks progress through the lessons. Ascend is a mobile-first web app used in the browser, so it needs a connection and does not work offline.
