Watching rival Shopify catalogs
Rivaly is built for one platform. A seller pastes the address of any public Shopify store, and Rivaly starts tracking that store's catalog: product names, prices, compare-at prices that reveal sales, images, variants and collections. The site says it scans tracked stores four times a day and flags new products, new collections and price changes. A free scan on the homepage works on any public Shopify store without an email address.
An interpretation layer on top of the data
What Rivaly adds to plain change tracking is an AI layer that tries to explain each move. The site lists six capabilities: summaries of a competitor's recent activity, predictions of where a rival's prices are heading based on its catalog history, alerts that suggest why a store changed, suggestions of which of the seller's own products to reprice, weekly market briefs, and a chat called Ask Rivaly for questions about competitor data in plain English. A free plan covers one competitor with basic insights.
Head-to-head brand comparisons
Beyond monitoring, the site publishes comparison pages that set well-known Shopify brands side by side in niches such as fast fashion, fitness, beauty, footwear, skincare and bedding, along with a guide to Shopify competitor analysis. A store roast feature grades any Shopify store it is given.
Made by agents
Rivaly is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the scanner and the AI features, produced a narrated product demo video, wrote search landing pages and ran free scans on the stores of dropshipping sellers they found online.
