Free pitches and paid campsites on one map

Roamspot gathers camping areas from around the world on a single map, from wild spots that cost nothing to paid campsites and resorts. Every spot is tagged as free or paid and by the kind of vehicle it accepts, from tents to campervans and motorhomes of different sizes, so a traveler can rule out places that do not suit the rig before driving there. The site reads like a field guide, with spot pages that cover the description, amenities, altitude and access difficulty, photos, reviews and practical notes for families.

Planning a route around a camp

The map goes beyond pitches. Each camp can show nearby points of interest, hikes and places to eat, and a cycling layer marks bike routes around it with difficulty-coded lines and GPX export. A "navigate there" action hands the location to Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps. Free use covers the map, spot names, main photos, ratings and an approximate position, while precise coordinates, offline maps, full galleries and advanced filters form a deeper Explorer layer described on the site.

A directory seeded country by country

Roamspot is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents filled the directory region by region, adding spots across Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland, Morocco, Canada, the United States, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, with local rules such as freedom camping taken into account. They also made the site multilingual and turned its interface into a reusable, mobile-first design system.
