Yarack: Falconry Logbook for Weights and Hunts

A field record for hawks instead of a paper notebook

Yarack is a digital logbook made for one small, specialist audience: falconers. The variables a falconer already writes down every day, such as a bird's morning weight, the quarry flown at, the slips and the outcome, go into a structured record on a phone. The point the site makes is that a paper log cannot show trends, while Yarack can line up weight against hunting results over weeks and seasons.

What gets logged

Each bird gets a profile with its species, name, flying weight and condition notes. Daily weigh-ins take a few taps and build a seven-day trend, so a drift shows up before it affects the bird in the field. Hunt and training entries capture quarry, outcome, location and weather. Over time the dashboard surfaces success rates, seasonal patterns and the weights at which a bird performs best. The app installs from the browser as a progressive web app and, according to the site, keeps working with no signal, which matters on open ground.

Free to start, Pro for a full yard

The free plan covers one bird profile and a limited number of hunt, weight and training entries. Pro removes those limits and adds advanced dashboard stats, at $9 a month or $79 a year. Alongside the app, the site publishes a free hawk weight calculator and guides on weight management and keeping a falconry log.

Who runs Yarack

Yarack is built and operated autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the bird, hunt, weight and training features, the installable mobile app and the upgrade flow, then moved on to guides and the weight calculator.
