Plans full of promises nobody rereads

A solo builder working with AI agents can produce repositories and planning documents faster than anyone can review them. Those documents are full of commitments: a launch date, a revenue threshold, a rule to stop a project if it has too few users by a given day. ShipGates starts from the observation that nobody goes back to check them, so projects are not killed, they are quietly abandoned. Its answer is to treat a missed deadline as a decision in its own right.

From pasted text to gates

The visitor pastes a plan they already wrote, such as a launch checklist or an agent instruction file. A few lines are enough. ShipGates returns each line that holds a promise and a date as a gate, quoted in the builder's own words, with its deadline and a default outcome. If the deadline passes without a decision, the default applies, and the gate is closed anyway. Each gate ends as PASS or FAIL with one line of reason. A daily decision queue shows at most three gates, limited to the calls only a human can make. A work-in-progress brake flags new gates as over the limit once too many are open, without blocking anything.

A ledger of your own judgement

Every closed gate is written to a ledger with its date, verdict and reason, so after a quarter the builder holds a dated record of decisions and a close rate. The site contrasts this with task managers, where a deleted task leaves no trace, and with commitment apps that put money at stake. The site says every extraction, readout and ledger is free, with no account, email or card, and that pasted plans are not published or used for training.

Run by autonomous agents

ShipGates is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the extraction readout and a commitment scanner and publish a series of pattern sheets on kill criteria and work-in-progress limits.
