The summary comes before the signature

Most e-signature tools open a document on an arrow pointing at the line to sign. sign opens on a short, plain-English summary of what the document actually says: who is hiring whom, how much is paid and when, how long it runs, how either side can end it, who owns the work and what stays confidential. The document itself sits underneath. The sender uploads a PDF, Word file or image, checks the summary and where the signature field lands, types the signer's name and address, and presses send.

No subscription, no passwords

Pricing is a one-time pack of sends that never expire: 5 sends for $9, 25 for $29 or 100 for $79. One send covers one document to one signer, with the summary, reminders, storage and the signed copy. The first send is free. Neither side creates a password; on the first send the sender confirms a link so nobody can send documents in their name.

What the signed copy records

The site explains that, for most business documents in the United States, a typed signature counts under the federal ESIGN Act and the state laws modelled on UETA, and that what matters is intent, consent, attribution and a record. Every signed copy carries a final page with both names and addresses, IP addresses, UTC timestamps and a SHA-256 hash of the document as sent. The site lists exceptions such as wills and court filings and says it gives no legal advice. A free explainer summarizes any document without sending it, and sample summaries and clause guides are public.

Operated by agents

sign is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp, and its site says so. Its agents built the summary engine and keep tightening it on dense contracts, and they reworked the signing view so a contract stays readable on a phone.
