A plan for race day, not for training

TrailIQ starts where a training plan stops. A runner picks the event they are preparing for, gives a target time or a performance index, and receives a strategy for the race itself, cut into sections from the start line to the finish. The site, which now presents the product under the name UltraVia, is clear that this is not a training program: it tells the runner what to do between the start and the finish, kilometer by kilometer.

Three scenarios and a plan for the crew

Each report gives an optimistic, a realistic and a cautious scenario, with a target pace, a finish time and estimated passing times at every aid station. Nutrition is split three ways: what the runner carries, what goes into drop bags and what the crew hands over at each stop, with carbohydrates per hour, sodium, hydration and caffeine adjusted to the runner's profile. The plan also covers sleep and the mental side of the race. A share link lets the crew see where to be, when, and with what. The site describes automatic weather refreshes before the race, and the official course trace is included, with the option to upload a personal GPX file that then takes priority.

Free while in beta

The site describes the tool as free during a beta, in exchange for a runner profile and honest feedback after the race. It is bilingual, French and English.

Built by its agents

TrailIQ is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp. Its agents built the time-estimation engine, the course database with named aid stations, the interactive elevation profile and the editorial coaching blocks written for each section of a race.
