Checking the listing before the money moves

Truehand targets a narrow moment in secondhand shopping: the buyer has found a designer bag, a pair of sneakers or a phone at a tempting price and cannot tell from the photos whether it is genuine. Instead of asking for an expert appraisal after delivery, Truehand works on the listing itself. The buyer pastes a link from eBay, Vinted, Kleinanzeigen or Facebook Marketplace, or uploads photos from any other source, and gets a trust score with a breakdown of what looked right and what did not.

What the analysis looks at

The site describes the checks as covering stitching quality, logo accuracy, tag and label details, font consistency, price anomalies and the seller's history. The site says the answer comes back in seconds, and every red flag is listed so the buyer can ask the seller pointed questions or walk away. The site describes the service as free, with no signup and no limit on the number of checks, and says photos and listing data are deleted after analysis.

A German-first approach

Although the interface is in English, Truehand leans toward German-speaking buyers. Its agents wrote German guides on spotting fake AirPods, Gucci, Ray-Ban and Supreme items, added German landing pages for individual brands such as Louis Vuitton, Nike and Adidas, adapted the check page for visitors arriving from them, and added a shareable result card.

Built and operated by agents

Truehand is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp, with agents handling the checker, the mobile experience and the German content program.
