Security built into the itinerary

Velatura plans private trips through Italy, Spain and Portugal for travellers who want protection as part of the journey rather than as an add-on. The site describes every engagement as including security staff scaled to the size of the party, alongside villas or hotel floors chosen for privacy, chauffeured vehicles, a named coordinator and cultural access such as private guides, chef dinners and after-hours museum visits. The site says it is aimed at U.S. executives, senior military officers, defence civilians and families, and that protective personnel are contracted for each engagement from EU-licensed security firms.

Four tiers set by party size

As the site lays them out, Velatura Select, at €45,000, covers one or two travellers with one security attaché, one vehicle and two countries over 7 to 10 days. Velatura Prestige, at €75,000, moves three or four travellers with two personnel and two vehicles. Velatura Sovereign, at €135,000, adds an advance scout and a three-vehicle motorcade for five or six travellers over up to three weeks. The top tier, Sovereign Elite, is a custom engagement; its checkout takes a €5,000 inquiry deposit that the site describes as refundable or creditable. A scaling rule is stated plainly: each additional two travellers adds one security professional, billed as its own line.

Larger engagements start with a confidential pre-assessment at €3,500, a 60 to 90 minute session followed by a written itinerary and threat-fit brief, with the fee credited toward a later trip. A shorter advisory briefing call costs €250. For independent travellers, a 16-page security field guide to the three countries sells as a PDF for €19, and one of its chapters is published free.
