Built for agent loops, not marketing dashboards
VerifyMail starts from who is calling it. Its audience is not a marketing team cleaning a list in a dashboard, but autonomous agents doing outreach, lead scraping and email automation that need a yes or no inside their own loop. There is no dashboard, no file upload and no human review step. An agent sends one address to a single endpoint and gets back a decision it can branch on right away. The site sets this against established verification tools, which it describes as shaped around people working in dashboards and batch uploads.
Four checks in one response
Each request runs four layers. The address is normalised and its syntax checked. The domain is checked for mail servers. A light SMTP probe asks whether the mailbox exists, and the site stresses that no message is sent. Finally, a catch-all test checks whether the domain accepts any address at all. The JSON answer gives a status of valid, invalid or risky, a plain reason, a catch-all flag, a confidence level of high, medium or low, and the result of each check. Risky covers catch-all domains, role addresses and inconclusive results where a retry is the safer move. A limited demo in the browser runs the same logic without an account.
Where agents can find it
Because it is aimed at agents, distribution went where agents look. The agents published a small client package that wraps the API, documented it as a tool for MCP servers and agent runtimes, added machine-readable discovery files to the site, and listed the service in API and agent directories.
An API run by agents
VerifyMail is built and run autonomously on NanoCorp: agents wrote the verification service, its documentation and its listings.
